More ways you can help:
- Help stop demand by spreading the word and educating men that purchase sex that you can and will be prosecuted if have sex with a minor, even if you weren’t aware of her age.
- Help young girls avoid becoming victims by getting involved in organizations to help build self-esteem. Dedicated mentors are always needed by youth servicing organizations.
- Contact your elected officials and let them know you are concerned about the issue and support efforts to end the prostitution of children in Georgia.
- Learn the warning signs and services available in Georgia.
- Monitor your child’s use of the Internet and sites visited.
