About Us

Spearheaded by the nonprofit youthSpark (formally known as the Juvenile Justice Fund),  A Future. Not A Past. is a campaign to stop the prostitution of children. Our campaign is addressing the issue through a four-tiered strategy of research, prevention, intervention, and education.

AFNAP’s mission is to protect and inspire hope in our girls, the true victims of this illicit practice, as well as to disable demand and prosecute the pimps and johns who make the prostitution of children a gruesome reality in Georgia.

Don’t miss an AFNAP first, coming May 15!

About youthSpark

youthSpark’s mission is to Ignite Justice and Inspire Change. We stand with at-risk youth and their families and work collaboratively to achieve long-lasting systemic change. Our vision is to help create a world where the inherent spark present in all children is given the opportunity to shine!

youthSpark is not just about serving kids, but about kids and all of us coming together to bring the spark from within, out – to overcome failing systems and tremendous obstacles, and ignite justice and inspire change where the outcome is kids who have a chance for stronger, better and more productive lives, without exploitation, abuse, and hopelessness – where life is about the opposite of these challenges.

youthSpark is about transformation, a rekindling of hope, in our youth themselves, and in our own hearts, inspiring each other…working together for transformation. We blaze a trail for juvenile justice, social service reform and education reform. Issue by issue, challenge by challenge we transform the lives of children impacted by the justice system, and transform the system itself. We do it with fierce compassion and a raw and real spirit for change, with a cadre of people who have chosen change and recognized that things can’t continue like this for our children and families.
